Fundraising and PR
We try to raise awareness of the issues affecting young carers and young people affected by substance misuse in their families in a number of ways, from organising attention-grabbing events to working closely with local and national press to tell young peoples' stories.
We also work hard to ensure the organisation has enough money to continue its work, by securing grants and donations from charitable trusts and foundations, local community groups and companies. Find out who has been fundraising for us recently by browsing our latest news.
Recent success includes:
receiving a £500,000 investment for up to 5 years from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation
securing a new three-year grant from The Big Lottery, for SYC's Family Project
appearing on BBC Children in Need
making some fantastic new contacts through the High Sheriff's Charity Concert

We are always looking for new ways to raise the profile of young carers and to bring in additional funds. Find out how you could support us today.
