Sharing your information

This notice is to inform young carers who are aged 16+ and who are being supported by Sheffield Young Carers, that we will be sharing your information with Sheffield City Council. This will then be forwarded on to the NHS who will exclude anyone who has already had their first vaccination, then invite everyone else on the list to book an appointment to have their vaccination.

The only information we are sharing is your name, date of birth and postcode.

None of the data that we send will be retained by the Council, or used for any other purpose, and at every step, data will be protected to the highest degree, including using the most secure processes for transferring the data between organisations. We won’t know when your letter has been sent to you, or whether or not you accept the offer of vaccination. That is entirely between you and the NHS.

We strongly encourage everyone to take up the offer of vaccination.
