Sheffield Young Carers Family Project

Supporting families. Strengthening young carers. Building brighter futures.

The Sheffield Young Carers Family Project supports family members with long-term physical or mental health conditions, disabilities, and/or substance misuse issues who are cared for by a young person in their family.

Hand-in-hand

Our team works alongside families to ease the pressures of ill health and caring. We take a whole-family strength-based approach, offering practical help, emotional support, and social connection to ease the pressures of caring, especially for young carers, while encouraging independence and well-being for those living with health conditions.
