On Sunday the 5th March 2017, we were delighted to accept a cheque for the sum of £3,000 from the Pride of Dinnington Lodge 4176 of the Royal Antideluvian Order of Buffaloes.

The cheque donation, which will benefit young carers from all over Sheffield, was made in the name of Eric ‘Gabby’ Gabbitas, whose bequest to the Lodge (along with other donations) has made such a generous gift possible.

We can’t thank the Buffaloes enough for their generous support for our work. Young carers are some of Sheffield’s most vulnerable children and young people and this gift will help us to continue providing vital one-to-one support to the young carers who need it most.

As a small local charity, we rely heavily on the support of our local community and we were absolutely delighted to receive this incredible donation. Special thanks must also go to Eric Gabbitas’ family, to whom we are extremely grateful.
